Joan is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry, overseeing all facets of branch operations.

Her banking journey commenced in 1992 at the Bank of Boston, Haiti branch, where she started as a customer service representative. In 1994, she was chosen to participate in the management trainee program, excelling in consumer and commercial lending, financial analysis, accounting, customer service, and branch management. During her tenure from 1995 to 1997, as Bank of Boston Haiti transitioned to Banque Intercontinentale de Commerce S.A. BIDC S.A., Joan fulfilled various roles such as Junior credit officer, Financial Center Manager overseeing branch operations, production, and staff management, and Financial Center Operations Manager supervising a network of 7 financial centers.

 

Even after the merger of BIDC S.A. with SOGEBANK S.A. in 1998, Joan retained her position as Financial Center Operations Manager until 1999 when she relocated to the United States. Her responsibilities during the merger included database conversion and facilitating the integration of all team members from BIDC S.A. into SOGEBANK.

 

Since her move to the United States in 2001, Joan has continued her banking career with various institutions. Currently, she serves as the Branch Operations Manager for a prestigious branch with substantial deposits, leveraging her extensive operational expertise to drive the branch's ongoing success.
